Yet restoration is not really the right word, as these two historic mills have been transformed into spectacular modern living spaces unlike anything in their storied past.
Exposed bricks and massive beams. Soaring ceilings and oversized windows. These sun-soaked lofts offer a unique opportunity to live in a serene riverfront park steps from some of the most exciting sports, entertainment and cultural offerings in the area.

As opposed to traditional demolition, the majority of debris from our initial construction was carefully removed and recycled. By repairing the masonry of the mill with recycled historic brick, we were able to keep the aesthetic quality of the original without wasting additional material.
We installed a High Efficiency Heat Pump HVAC System to ensure more effective, energy-efficient climate control. Similarly, our Low Flow Toilets and Low-E glass windows will reduce our ecological imprint for years, making Lofts at Perkins Park not only a spacious, beautiful place to live, but also a responsible member of the local and global community.
Built within the walls of a historic structure, each one and two-bedroom residence is distinct with the kind of character that is rarely found in so many of today’s “cookie cutter” new construction projects. And with the latest in amenities—central air conditioning, ample closet space, fitness center, etc.—the Lofts at Perkins Park truly offer the best of old and new.
Far from being an enormous complex, Perkins Park is built to a very livable, manageable scale. Of course, that also means there are a relatively limited number of apartments available. Explore the floorplans to find the option that works best for you.
The Lofts at Perkins Park are best appreciated up close and in person. We encourage anyone who is interested to join us for a tour.
